I'm a Naturopathic Doctor, who practices integrative medicine with an emphasis on women’s health.

My current focus is on Environmental Medicine and the conditions that are associated with toxic exposures: auto-immune diseases, fatigue, cognitive decline, hormone imbalances, mitochondrial dysfunction, and neurologic conditions.

I also have a Masters in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I was the Naturopathic Doctor on staff for the First Disabled Ascent of Mt. Everest in 1998. I was also the creator of Insulite Laboratories, a company dedicated to reversing disorders related to insulin. My private practice Holistica Integrative Care is in Boulder, CO, which I've managed for 24 years.

I am the co-founder and Vice President of Pride Pads Africa whose mission is to manufacture sanitary pads in Northern Cameroon to keep girls in school. Pridepads Org Access to menstrual supplies is an enormous obstacle to girls completing their education. Without access to sanitary pads, girls are more likely to drop out of school, get pregnant, get married very young, or be sex trafficked. This passion project of mine continues to empower girls in this rural area of Cameroon.

I am the author of a book called "Pre-Conception Cleanse: Detoxify Your Life - Inside and Out - For The Optimal Health of Your Baby."

My training has always been to treat the cause of a disorder -not the symptoms. In the last 25 years and I have seen fertility and neurodevelopmental issues soar, that got me thinking….

More patients in my clinic have cognitive challenges in their 40’s and 50’s than I had ever seen before. This problem is really big, we need to change the way we are doing things if we do not want to lead a life that is limited cognitively.

I knew I needed to work upstream, to focus on women in their fertile years as the best strategy for creating healthier babies and thus healthier adults in the future. This could potentially change the quality of life for generations to come.
